Udinese – Sampdoria Preview

Udinese aim to put their negative run of results behind them when they host Sampdoria this weekend. The Friuli outfit have taken just two points in their last eight games and a defeat against Samp could prove to be the end for under-fire coach Pasquale Marino. The Bianconeri were at the top of the table earlier in the season, but they have fallen from grace and all talk of Champions League places has ceased. Sampdoria have also been relatively disappointing in this campaign. Touted as the surprise package to watch out for, Antonio Cassano and his team mates have not reached the heights expected of them from critics and football pundits.
