After two disallowed goals Chievo finally went ahead with a penalty from Michele Marcolini, but a second half goal from Ezequiel Lavezzi did not help Napoli, as Marcolini converted his second penalty of the day to hand Chievo the win in Verona. Marek Hamsik was sent off for Napoli, while Santiago Morero was also red carded for Chievo.
