Mauro Zarate appears to be on cloud nine after his move to Lazio was made permanent, after the buying out of his contract with Qatar based club, Al-Sadd.
The 22-year-old striker spoke to La Gazzetta Dello Sport pledging his future with the capitol club, whilst stating a desire to help improve the club in order to fight for the Scudetto, as well as the Champions League. He then went on to compare the people in Rome to those in his home country, Argentina, and said that both sets of people are affectionate and sociable.
As the Aquile slowly begins to spread its wings and gather more strength to challenge for a better position next season, Zarate will certainly have a major part to play in the successes of his club.
