Treviso were relegated from the Serie B last season, and are frantically looking to raise funds in order to get back into the second tier. This had allowed Milan to capture the signature of Gianmarco Zigoni, a hot prospect who is touted to be one of the best among the younger players that tread the peninsula. It has been reported that the Diavolo coughed up €1.2 million in order to bring the youngster to San Siro.

The 18-year-old hit man has bagged over a 100 goals in the Treviso youth setup, and has appeared in eighteen games for the senior squad, hitting the back of the net twice in the process. He has also played one game for the Azzurini, and managed to score on his debut.

The player will certainly have an excellent learning experience with the Milanese outfit, and is yet another example of the young blood that the Rossoneri have been looking to sign.

As the budding talent begins his quest in the top flight, he will undoubtedly want to emulate his father, Gianfranco Zigoni, who was known for his stylish play in the Serie A. The senior Zigoni enjoyed spells with Juventus, Genoa, as well as Roma, in a career that spanned over two decades.
