Milan bigwig Adriano Galliani has stated that the Diavolo will wait a final 48 hours to see if Wolfsburg will change their mind on the proposed transfer of Edin Dzeko to the fashion capitol of Europe.
The vice president of the club has been quoted on Sky Sports as saying that he will wait two more days to see if the Bundesliga club can muster up a positive response. However, when the deadline passes, alternate hypotheses will have to be considered. This means that the Milanese heavyweights will no longer chase Dzeko, should the German club continue to say that their striker is not for sale.
The supremo clarified that it was not a case of how much the player was worth. The German champions simply did not want to sell their player. As the outcome of this deadline appears to be one that has been foretold by the pundits, it may be safe to assume that the Rossoneri will now look towards Luis Fabiano or Emmanuel Adebayor to bolster their strike force.
