Luciano Moggi was believed to be on the verge of joining Bologna in an unofficial capacity, to advise them on the affairs of the transfer market. However, a recent report on Tuttosport claims that the former director of Juventus has declined the offer that the Rossoblu made.
It is believed that Moggi had requested that the club replace their coach Giuseppe Papadopulo with former Bari boss Antonio Conte. Presently, rumours continue to emanate that the ex-Juventus player will be the man to take care of the Emilia-Romagna based club.
Meanwhile, the club has gone dark over the issue, and Papadopulo is said to be meeting with the directors to discuss his future. Looking at the direction in which the club is moving, it may not be long before the Calciopoli mastermind is made to change his mind over the issue.
