The disgruntled Liverpool midfielder has been widely rumoured to be on the verge of an exit from Anfield, and some of the finest clubs in Europe are believed to be chasing after the Spanish international.
The Old Lady failed to meet the demands of the Reds last season, when Xabi Alonso came as close to the exit door as a player does before an imminent transfer. According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have decided to chase the artistic playmaker yet again this season. However, they have stiff competition in the likes of Real Madrid, whose financial power is one that no club can claim to match.
A move to the peninsula looks unlikely. But if Los Merengues back out of the talks for some reason, Turin would certainly welcome the player with open arms.
