The proposed transfer of Deco from Chelsea to Inter appears to have hit a roadblock, as the Premier League club appear to be unfavourably disposed toward an exchange of players. Initially, it was believed that Deco as well as Ricardo Carvalho would move to the Nerazzurri squad in exchange for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
But presently, the Biscion is believed to have turned its fangs toward Eden Hazard, an 18-year-old Belgian player who has been spoken of as the next Zidane. The youngster performed admirably with French club Lille in the Ligue 1, and even established himself as a regular first team player, making 31 appearances and bagging four goals in the process.
Deco is still believed to be the primary objective, as the Beneamata are looking to add some creativity into the midfield. Should the Deco deal fail to reach fruition, it is believed that Hazard would be the next viable option for the club.
