Milan were after Edin Dzeko to add to their strength in the attacking third of the pitch, but Wolfsburg remained adamant that their player was not for sale. This had prompted a host of other players including Emmanuel Adebayor, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, and Luis Fabiano to be linked with a move to the fashion capital of Europe.
Presently, the Rossoneri appear to be chasing the Brazilian, as reports indicate that the club has made a bid £13 million bid to bring the 28-year-old to the San Siro. However, Sevilla appear to be holding out for a price that surpasses £20 million. This would in turn mean that the Diavolo has to look elsewhere for a striker.
It remains to be seen if the Milanese outfit value the player as a prime target during the summer transfers, and present an improvised bid to the Spanish club.
