A report on La Repubblica states that Er Pupone spoke to journalists during a press conference hailing Marcello Lippi, who was the architect of the World Cup winning team. The 32-year-old player then said that he may consider a return to the La Nazionale if Lippi should call him up. However, he maintained that it would be subject to how he felt during the season.
