According to the latest reports, Luciano Zauri has moved camp and will now be a face in the Sampdoria line-up. The 31-year-old Italian did not figure in the long term plans at the Olimpico, and the club promptly loaned him out to Fiorentina. He has now been loaned out to the Blucerchiati, who have the option to buy the player next season.

The present loan to the Genoa based club is due to the fact that the Viola did not exercise their right to hold on to the player when the loan deal expired.
