Milan have had a miserable start to the season and are struggling to score goals, and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has already been deemed as incompatible with the team’s tactics. The Dutchman has failed to impress and appears to be heading out, perhaps as soon as the January transfer window.
The striker was signed from Real Madrid with the hope that he would be able to score goals regularly and form a solid partnership with Brazilian Alexandre Pato. The objectives have not been realised, and Huntelaar is yet to score his first goal in either the Serie A or the Champions League.
Il Diavolo appears to be interested in former Inter striker Adriano. The Brazilian has been rumoured to be on the Rossoneri radar for a few weeks now, and it seems as though the club might make a move for him.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims that the upper echelon of the San Siro outfit is disappointed with the Dutch striker, and could even use him as a means to lure Roman Pavlyuchenko from Tottenham Hotspur.
