daniele-de-rossiRoma midfielder Daniele De Rossi is being mentioned as a possible transfer target for Juventus at the end of the season. The Italy international is one of the most respected players among the Lupi, and a move away from the capital could cause discontent amongst the tifosi.

The player has stated on more than one occasion that he would like to remain with the Giallorossi, yet the club from the Eternal City could be tempted to let go of the prominent midfielder if the right offer is tabled.

Prior to the start of this season, Chelsea reportedly offered a significant amount, €40 million, but the offer was rejected. According to il Corriere dello Sport, the Turin-based club’s management has been following the midfielder, and could offer half of the amount Chelsea proposed.

However, the proposed deal will be made more tempting with the inclusion of a number of Bianconeri players such as Cristian Molinaro, Tiago and Christian Poulsen. Also, the Old Lady’s young defender Lorenzo Ariaudo is said to be on the list to sweeten the offer.

The Lupi Coach Claudio Ranieri has been rumoured to be seeking a reunion with Juve left-back Molinaro, and some other foreign players who were brought to la Fidanzata d’Italia under his reign.

It is hard to envision ‘Capitan Futuro’ move away from the Stadio Olimpico since he is one of the club’s symbols, but given the team’s financial difficulties anything is possible.
