Juventus striker David Trezeguet has been scoring goals this season, following a miserable time last year that was plagued by injuries.
Despite Trezeguet’s goals, it is likely the player will depart from the Bianconeri this summer in order to finish his career elsewhere – with the most likely destination being France – where he has been linked with a number of clubs.
Consequently, the Old Lady’s search for an adequate replacement continues, and Tuttosport claims that either Marouane Chamakh or Alan Kardec will be brought in once the Frenchman departs.
The Moroccan Chamakh plays for Girondins de Bordeaux and will be out of contract come the end of the season. His signing is not guaranteed by any means since he has generated interest amongst other elite clubs as well.
Kardec is an Under-20 Brazil international who is renowned for his shooting and physical presence. With the Bianconeri originally linked with Lazio outcast Goran Pandev, it will be interesting to see which forward ends up joining the Turin heavyweights.
