There has been an increasing amount of speculation concerning a possible departure of Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar once the January transfer window opens.
The Dutch attacker has yet to score for the Rossoneri and he has not featured under Leonardo in recent times.
The Diavoli boss is said to have been left less than impressed with the performances put in by Huntelaar, and despite the signing of Ghanian sensation Dominic Adiyiah, the club will be short on strikers when Adiyiah leaves for the African Nations Cup.
One player who has reportedly caught the eye of the Milan management ,is Toulouse striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
According to il Corriere dello Sport, the Italian powerhouse is keen on replacing Huntelaar and Gignac’s name is one of those recently being linked with a move to the San Siro.
The 23-year-old has previously featured for France and his capture is unlikely to be a cheap one, which may consequently deter the club from making a move for him. It is reported that the French club will demand at least €15 million for the prized hitman.
