Parma have been the surprise so far this season in the Serie A. After 16 rounds of games, the Crociati lie in fourth position, meaning that they have a shot at Champions League football if they remain there come the end of the season.

The newly promoted club are on a run of five games without a loss, the most impressive a 3-2 win against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The three front-men Bulgarian Valeri Boyinov, former Juventus player Nicola Amoruso, and 19-year-old hotshot Alberto Pasloschi, have all been key to the club’s great run scoring four goals each. Another great acquisition to the squad has been former the Milan, Real Madrid and Roma defender Cristian Panucci who is not shy when it comes to scoring goals.

Led by the talismanic former Palermo boss Francesco Guidolin, Parma have been a revelation, surprising everyone with their great play so far, which begs the question.  Have they got what it takes to continue with their great run and hold on to fourth position?
