Genoa president Enrico Preziosi could not hide his disappointment after the late defeat suffered by his side to Valencia. The visitors secured a late win as striker David Villa struck in injury-time to go through and end the journey for the Rossoblu in the Europa League.

Preziosi told il Corriere dello Sport his side played their best till the match was over, but could not secure a deserved victory. But he did give credit to Los Che credit for snatching all three points. He declared he was disappointed with the result despite the positive performance.
