cesare-prandelli-fiorentinaJuventus midfielder Felipe Melo was recently booed when he was substituted during the 2-1 loss against Catania, as the pressure to perform continues to mount on the Brazilian.

The former Fiorentina player has had an inconsistent start to his career in Turin, and besides a couple of impressive games he has been largely ineffective thus far.

There were reports the player could be on his way out, as la Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Bianconeri are on the verge of placing him on the transfer list.

However, former coach Cesare Prandelli insists Melo is a quality player with good skills, but not one who can be relied on for vision and creativity. The Viola boss stressed he never used to ask Melo to do things he is not capable of, consequently hinting the player is probably being misused by Ciro Ferrara.
