Rumours have continued to link Udinese midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino with a move to Turin, despite the saga that went on during the summer.
Juventus opted for Fiorentina’s Felipe Melo after negotiations with the Udine-based club broke down due to disagreement on the price that was placed on the player’s head.
Presently, D’Agostino’s agent Paolo Rodella has told Tuttosport his client would still jump at the opportunity of play for the Old Lady, as he supported the club since his childhood.
Following the dismal results in recent weeks and the unconvincing performances put in by the Brazilian, it is believed that la Fidanzata d’Italia may look toward some squad strengthening to achieve the club’s objectives for the season.
