Milan are believed to be pondering over a bid for Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, owing to the injury prone nature of Alessandro Nesta.

According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the Serbian is to be the first of many players who will be brought in to the San Siro outfit during the summer, as coach Leonardo is reportedly planning an overhaul of the current squad.

Meanwhile, Monaco’s Cederic Mongongu and Cagliari’s Davide Astori have also been linked with a summer move to the Rossoneri.

Milan will play Manchester United in the first knock-out round of the Champions League.
