Euro 2012 Draw Announced: Italy To Face Serbia & Slovenia
February 7th, 2010
The draw for the Euro 2012 has been announced, and Italy have been drawn with Serbia, Northern Ireland, Slovenia, Estonia and Faroe Islands in Group C.
There is no clear-cut ‘group of death’ in the qualifiers, but as is always the case in a draw some groups are relatively tougher than others.
In comparison with some of the other heavyweights of Europe, the Azzurri have been handed a tough draw as they would have wanted to avoid playing Serbia in the qualification.
However, la Nazionale are still the favourites to make it out of the group to book a place in the latest edition of the battle for supremacy in Europe.
