Azzurri: Marcello Lippi respects Serbia and Slovenia

The draw for Euro 2012 was announced earlier today as FootballItaliano.org followed the event which placed Italy in a tricky group. Italy Coach Marcello Lippi declared Italy’s group to be a balanced one with six teams in it which is a positive according to the World Cup winner.

Lippi pointed out to the group’s strength with both Slovenia and Serbia making it to the World Cup in South Africa. The former Bianconeri Coach might not be on the Italy bench after the World Cup but he still highlighted the quality in the group as represented by the talented Serbians as well as Slovenia which ousted Russia to book a place in South Africa.
