Fiorentina Coach Cesare Prandelli was disappointed with the home defeat against Roma yet he insisted the players performed up to his expectations.

Prandelli told Sky Sports the players tried very hard to achieve the win in order to put behind the current mini-crisis which has seen the Gigliati lose three of their last five Serie A matches. Prandelli stated the Giallorossi were good at closing down space and limiting goal opportunities while refusing to blame fatigue for the defeat.

He concluded by saying he expects the team to rebound from this lost just as the players have done under his guidance in the past couple of years.
