Azzurri: Gianluigi Buffon aware of Italy’s tough Euro 2012 qualifiers

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon took time to comment on Italy’s Group C which sees the Azzurri clash with the likes of Serbia and Slovenia. Both of those teams have made it to South Africa 2010 and will  be tricky opposition for the Italians.

Buffon stated the Euro 2012 qualifiers will require hard work but he envisions the Azzurri going through. As the majority of the critics have been saying, the reliable goalkeeper has also singled out Serbia and Slovenia as the main threats.

Buffon also mentioned Northern Ireland as a tricky opposition and recalled how his first ever match for the Azzuri was against Northern Ireland with the Italian U-15 side.
