Milan grab late winner against Chievo

Milan were able to overcome visiting Chievo courtesy of a late winner scored by Dutchman Clarence Seedorf. The strike gives the Rossoneri more breathing space as Roma are now five points behind in third place.

The most significant aspect is the fact the Rossoneri are now a mere point behind league leaders and city rivals Inter in what appears to be a two-horse race for the Serie A title. The positive result has Milan ending a tough week on a high note considering the Rossoneri were humiliated 4-0 in their Champions League clash against Manchester United a few days ago.
